Standard Metal Products (SMP) is an established CNC Machine Shop located in the South of Market neighborhood in San Francisco. We are looking for an experienced machinist and waterjet operator for either part time or full time work. The work is interesting, challenging, and changes every day. We work closely with a diverse set of clients including municipal, aerospace, transportation, medical, and art fabrication. It is critical for our machinists to be organized and self managing. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Machinist candidate MUST have 3+ years PROFESSIONAL experience on manual mill and lathe as a bare minimum. 
• If you have CAD/CAM and CNC experience, that’s a plus. 
• Potential Waterjet operators must comfortable with CAD before we train you on the OMAX
